Up for sale is this very interesting Kewa Pueblo art pottery. Measures approximately 5.5" tall x 6.5" length, and 4.5 deep.
Hand coiled, stone polished and pit fired. Hand painted early polychrome, likely made in the early 60's, with Southwest tribal geometric designs, in addition to butterflies and a turtle climbing to top.
Comes with an uneven opening and minor vintage wear, such as trace of stretches. But no chip no crack found.
