Acoma Pueblo Native American Etched Pottery I. Chino (Iona K.) Large
Circa 90s or 2000 Acoma Pueblo pottery with minimal wear on surface. Hand crafted, painted, and etched pottery bowl/olla. One of the styles Acoma potters excel at is complex geometric patterns that are so well executed as to appear like computer-generated graphic designs (in my opinion anyway). In this pot, the bold geometric triangles are interrupted by contrasting bands of graceful etched vine and leaf swirls. Chino as shown in photo.

Dimensions: 5 1/4" H x 8 1/2" W. Provenance: private collector who lived (& collected) in NM, non-smoking home.
