Johns Polychrome Bowl was made around 1275 AD. It is as found with No restoration and 100% original paint. This bowl was broken into several pieces as you can see by the picure of the bowl, the way it came out of the ground, prior to cleaning and gluing.
This bowl has strong brilliant A-1 paint, inside and out. The design is artistic and classic tularosa. The pottery itself is hard and well made. I'm not sure what the design on the outside represents, but there are 7 of them. This is a good sized bowl that is 3 1/2'' deep and 8'' wide.
'NOTE'' For the buyers peace of mind, and to insure that there is No''proffesional restoration'' on the item we will be putting on pictures of the vessels prior to cleaning and glueing. All of our pottery is guaranteed to be authentic, an obtained legally on private land. All pottery comes with a Certificate of Authenticity upon request.
