A wonderful and superb interpretation of the Nativity by a very talented artist, Ann Graffy. TEN pieces, 3 wise men (or gift bearers) bearing gifts, a shepherd, a sheep, Mary & Joseph and the baby Jesus and a woven Navajo blanket. Just beautiful clay pieces with amazing colorful glazes to highlight each piece. Pieces are 4.5 tall, there are other sets that are 2.5 tall, this is the larger. Condition issues: The sheep is missing both ears. Most versions have a full white "coat". The "coat" on this one is waffled, giving it a very nice depth and texture. The second issue is a small chip in the ear of corn, as pictured. There is also some surface scuffing or a spot from a spill on "Joseph". It appears to be surface, but I'm going to leave it alone, as pictured.
