Titled, "Thirty-third annual report of the Bureau of American Ethnology to the Secretary of the, Smithsonian Institution 1911 - 1912" this 8" by 11 ½", 677 page book was printed at the Government Office in 1919. Filled with hundreds of illustrations it cover the use of plants by the Indians of the Missouri River Region, an account of the antiquities of the region between the Mancos and La Plata Rivers in Southwestern Colorado, and a large section on the designs on prehistoric Hopi pottery, by Jesse Walter Fewkes. There also is a section titled, The Hawaiian romance of Laieikawai.There is no way I can even begin to tell you about all the information in this book and the illustrations, including a fold-out of a prehistoric Hop Pottery Design are wonderful. Every page is tightly bound and in clean condition. The binding and covers are also in very good clean condition with some corner bruising and wear.
