Antique Sara Fina Tafoya wedding Vase

Famous Native American Santa Clara potter. This original piece is dated to the 1920s or earlier. Beautifully made rare piece with Mellon ridge shoulder and footed base. Stone polished some fire clout details.

Part of original sticker on the base. A similar piece made by daughter Margaret Tafoya is noted and pictured in the book "Born of fire". The last two pictures are reference only from The book Born of fire showing a Margaret Tafoya vase from a Museum. So this piece is possibly Margarets work but most likely Sara Fina Tafoya. 7 1/2" ht x 6 1/2" wide.
