Vintage Zia Pottery Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Zia pottery vase or olla jar. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This polychrome pot has exterior decoration which includes birds and other patterns. It is a large example, at about 10 3/8 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide.

Unpacked, it weighs 6 pounds 15.3 ounces. This would be a wonderful addition to a collection of pueblo pottery.

Identification This unsigned piece is vintage Zia pottery. The exact age is not known. Condition This piece displays nicely, but it is not in perfect condition. As found, and as shown in Photos 8, 9, and 10, there are three cracks; one is rather short, and is only readily visible on the interior (see Photo 10).

There is very minor flaking along some areas of the cracks. There are scattered, very small flakes and surface losses.

There are some wear scuffs marks. There is evidence of wear to the base. As made, there is minor asymmetry. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
