Gorgeous Native American Pottery Storyteller by Vangie Suina of Cochiti Pueblo. Vangie specializes in storytellers in contemporary designs and vibrant colors. Her works of art are created using traditional hand coiling methods, which she learned from her mother.

This storyteller is accompanied by ten children sitting in her lap and on her back. It measures approximately 5" tall x 3.75" wide x 4 deep.

The bottom is marked "Vangie Suina Cochiti 84". Vangie has been working with clay art since the age of 22 (in the early 1980's).

This is one of her earlier pieces. This storyteller has a repair on one of the legs (see last few pictures for close ups).

This is the only damage/wear that I found. From a smoke free environment.
