Historic Antique Taos Bean Pot With Handle
Made from the red micaceous clay of Taos. The hand formed pot is almost pitcher-shape with a small molded handle and a lightly crimped rim. The baked clay is heavily flecked with mica. The bottom of the pot is heavily charred black from many uses. Approximately 4.5" tall by 7" across. For its age and use, it is in very good condition with several old rim chips but no cracks.
