Juana Leno, Native American Potter created, hand painted and signed this turtle pot in Acoma, New Mexico. Traditional Acoma designs were used to enhance this vessel. Measurements: 4 1/2" high x 6" diameter. 3 1/8 diameter opening at top.

Condition: Minor wear from age, scratches and scuffs. There is minor pitting of the glaze on the rim and some small dots of missing paint around the face of one of the turtles. I have acquired a large collection of Native American carvings, sculptures and pottery recently, there are over 50 fetishes, many sculptures and about 50 pieces of Native pottery, I will be listing it all in the next 2 months starting with the fetishes. Most are signed, there are antique, vintage and contemporary pieces.
