Lg. 10 Pc. Jemez Pottery Nativity Scene Caroline Sando

This lovely, large, 10 piece nativity is hand-made by noted Jemez Indian potter Caroline Sando. Caroline is the daughter of Andrea Tsosie and has been making pottery for over 30 years. Caroline has won many awards for her work, including first, second and third places at the Santa Fe Indian Market. This beautiful set is complete with stable and miniature bales of hay. Mary and Joseph stand 5 inches tall and are approximately 4 /12 inches wide.

The wise men are approximately 3 1/2 inches tall, all are kneeling. Also included is a donkey with a painted blanket on its back, a sheep and a cow lying down. The stable is 10 inches tall, 17 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Mary, Joseph and the three wise men are all adorned in turquoise stones. All pieces are finely made and have no chips, scratches or flaws.
