Mogollon/Anasazi/Hohokam Salado Ware Bowl Unrestored

Offered is a Salado Ware bowl, classified as Gila Polychrome. This medium-sized bowl measures 3 ¼ inches tall and 6 ½ in diameter across the incurved rim. It is in as-found condition, virtually perfect and unbroken with evidence of use; there is a very tiny rim chip as pictured in the third photo and a small fire cloud on the exterior.

There is a thick life-line immediately under the interior rim and a thin framing line below that. The interior is decorated with a balanced, black on white design that includes solid, hatched, scalloped and interlocking elements. The exterior is slipped red. A nice example - no reserve.
