DESCRIPTION This small, vintage Native American jar by Maria Montoya Martinez is ovoid in form with a highly polished, plain black surface. Maria crafted these plain pottery pieces during the period from around 1956 to 1965 and signed them by her San Ildefonso name Maria Poveka. MARKS Signed (base): Maria Poveka. DIMENSIONS Width 4.25 Depth 4.25 Height 3 in.
