This teardrop design is very rare and has shown up on 19th century pieces I have seen in the past, and may carry up to 1910/1915 or so, then disappears. The patina and stone polishing are old. Condition-wise, there are some rim chips, and a reglued handle.

Notice in photo #2 an exterior rim chip near the front spout, which measures about 9mm across. In photo #6 you can see two chips on the interior rim, the closest to the handle about 9mm across, and the one further away about 13mm across. Throughout the rim there are a few other very small nicks, most 1-2mm, some visible in photos #6, #7 and #8. The handle was separated from the olla at some point in it's history. The reglue, upper and lower, is visible in photo #8 and #9. It is a tight reglue. Also notice the base, true to early olla construction, is concave with a sharp, well-defined edge. Two fireclouds present, one in the lowest bottom section, and another smaller one extending up from the lower section into the white slip.
