Several pieces of pottery in the collection are labeled as being dug in Yell County, Arkansas. This dig is documented in the Archeological Survey of the Arkansas River Valley pg. Another pot in the collection is documented as being dug in Faulkner County, Ark in December 1925. Condition is remarkably good- minor ding in rim; pock on side; very small stable hairline crack in rim going nowhere.
Bottom of pot exhibits what I believe to be an ancient native repair, obviously completed prior to being placed in the ground. Pot still has clay from site.
