ACOMA Fine Line 6.25 Pottery Plate by Native American Artist Rebecca Lucario in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Serious Rebecca Lucario Collectors Only. Very detailed, Native American, collectors plate. In 2006 and immediately framed behind glass.
The detailed lines are extraordinary. The Plate is signed Rebecca Lucario on the reverse sorry no signature picture because I don? T want to disturb the sealed frame - I can attest it is?
The plate measures 6.25 in diameter. The inside circle of the plate measures approx 1.5 in diameter and has NO visible imperfections or spalling. An exquisite work of art in a snowflake pattern! The black wooden frame measures 12 x 12 square. This plate was professionally framed. Rebecca Lucario, born in 1951, is a member of the Yellow Corn Clan. Rebecca started making pottery in 1965 and was taught by her grandmother Dolores S. Rebecca fires her pieces twice, first in an electric kiln to cone 04, then outside in the traditional manner, which gets much hotter than the electric firing. Rebecca spends up to 12 hours, over several days, just on the black design work for her larger pots. She spaces the design out by eye rather than measuring or plotting out her designs with instruments. This is a WONDERFUL Example Of FINE LINE POTTERY and an Excellent Native American Collectible.
