Another wonderful jar by renowned artist Rondina Huma. It is coil built, stone polished and painted with native clay slips (reds) and bee-weed (black) and native fired. The major design element used is the shard pattern with a mountain and cloud pattern around the shoulder and whirlwind at the top of the neck. The jar measures 6.5W x 4.5H.

Rondina was born in 1947 and lives in the Hopi village of Polacca. She has won many awards throughout her career including Best of Show twice, in 1986 and 1997, at Santa Fe Indian Market.
