COLLECTIBLE SAN ILDEFONSO BLACK-ON-BLACK POTTERY PLATE by MARIA MARTINEZ ca. After Maria's husband died in 1943, their eldest son Adam Martinez and his wife Santana Roybal helped Maria with the design and firing of her pottery after Julian's death in 1943. Pieces during this collaboration were made between 1943 and 1954 and are signed Maria + Santana.
