Spiritual Pit Fired Pottery Thrown Raku Urn Vase Burial Native American Western

This is an absolutely gorgeous well crafted pottery piece of considerable age. Of course when pottery is pit fired, "random" flame marks are made on surface making this type of pottery beautiful. But are they really so random? Picture #1 shows a spirit heading upwards into two arms reaching down, almost welcoming the spirit.

Another part of the flame (picture #2) shows a possible upside down horse or buffalo. Of course the marks are made randomly...

Sometimes these pieces speak to people and are used for sacred reasons. I feel the right person will find this vase and know it is special and meant for them. Regardless of what anyone sees in the flames, it is a wonderful piece of art (picture #3). See pics for complete pics and details. Also a wonderful example of south western indigenous pottery.

Vase is wider than it is tall at 10" wide and 9" tall. Don't miss out on this beautiful piece of art! West Palm Beach FL 3053356875Call For more info. Vintage is usually better quality!

I'm sure you have heard the saying, "They dont makem like they used to". Vintage furniture was usually hand made with real wood, not mass produced with cheap materials.
