Handmade lid is embellished with circular striate and simple loop handle. Spoon has coordinating engraving on the handle and scallop side bowl. Diminutive, jar measures 2 5/8 height to finial top. Jar opening measures 1 3/4. With a couple of teeny scratches in the pottery.
At times it appears that lid does not seat properly on the jar, this is not the case. It seems as if the lid was intentionally crafted to just perch on the pottery leaving the appearance of floating; with uniform space all around.Lid marked as shown; no marks on pottery. Excellent estate condition, with slightly out of round. The item "Vintage Navajo Kenneth Begay White Hogan Sterling Silver Black Pottery Jar Spoon" is in sale since Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
