This a beautiful and simply stated Acoma pottery canteen measuring 6.5" tall, 5.5" diameter not including the handles. The soft spiral in the front of connecting "feathers" all surrounds a mirrored arc, looking like an abstract butterfly.

The back side has a stepped design enclosing three stacked feathers. The canteen has a tilt, intentionally, to make more prominent the front display.
