This is an early Hopi bowl thought to be attributed to Nampeyo. It is from a California collectors estate but there is no documentation and we are not experts in Native American art. Measures 5 3/4 inches wide by about 2 inches tall.
There is a chip on the inside rim of the bowl on one of the glazed dots but it is hard to see as it was painted over. Does not appear to be a repair. The bottom has a very large shard-like chip. The item "C1910 Hopi Pottery Bowl possibly Nampeyo of Hano Native American Indian" is in sale since Wednesday, October 04, 2017.
