Beautiful large Native American Indian Taos Santa Clara Pottery vase with smoke clouds by Edna Romero. Measures about 7" tall and about 8" wide. She uses the micacenous clay from the Taos Pueblo which has a sheen to the pottery surface from the mica in the clay. Very good condition, no chips or cracks, SIGNED on the base Edna Romero, comes with her ORIGINAL BUSINESS CARD. Edna Romero comes from one of the best known and innovative Pueblo Pottery families.

She is the daughter of Rose Naranjo. Her sisters Rena Swentzell, Tessie Naranjo, Tito Naranjo, Jody Falwell, Dolly Naranjo, Michael Naranjo, and Nora Naranjo-Morse. Edna breaks from the Santa Clara tradition by using micaceous clay from Taos Pueblo. Beautiful Condition, these sell for THOUSANDS of dollars.
