Hopi Nampeyo Hano Black-on-Red Bowl Pottery Seed Dish Native American Art

C e l es ti a l N o n e s u ch. An incredible Black-on-Red ware pottery bowl, presumably Hopi Native American pre-1930s, this piece is unsigned but done in the style and caliber of Nampeyo of Hano. This piece resembles early work by Nampeyo circa 1900, as well as some of the early unsigned work of Nampeyo's daughters. A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of Native American art and artifacts.

One minor surface crack in the paint on the bottom of the bowl, this can be detected with the fingernail but does not go through the entire piece. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
