Maria Martinez Small Eagle Feather Plate. Black On Black, Signed Marie & Santana

This small plate measures 6 in diameter and is appx. It is decorated with the classic eagle feather design. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on this piece. Signature, Marie & Santana, is clearly incised into the bottom.

Some scuff marks on the bottom, and some slight wear on the top center, but only those associated with a 60-70 year old piece. Not kept behind glass, but nothing that detracts. "Marie & Santana" dates the piece to between 1943 and 1956. This is a lovely Maria that you have the chance to get into for an affordable price. Christmas is coming up, and who wouldn't want to give someone this?
