Traditionally hand built with native clay, perfectly stone burnished then slip painted, pit fired. It is approximately 5 3/4" tall, 7" wide at the middle, 4" across the mouth and 3 3/4" across the base. Cynthia is the daughter of potter Carmelita Dunlap; and since her mother's death is second in line to Maria Martinez. Cynthia is also one of the last Grandmaster potters currently working in San Ildefonso Pueblo.
