MIDA TAFOYA Santa Clara Pueblo Native American Indian Pottery Avanyu Bowl. The bowl is 8" in diameter at widest point & 4" high. It features an Avanyu motif. Inscribed in pencil on bottom Mida Tafoya Santa Clara Pueblo. No chips or nicks in excellent condition. Mida Tafoya was born in 1931 and has been making pottery since 1944. She specializes in traditional stone polished carved bowls & vases. She was taught by her very famous mother Christina Naranjo. Priced right low to sell, will accept fair offers!
