Mississippian Quapaw Pottery Effigy Bottle

This Quapaw effigy bottle is the rarest. It has four nodes around its perimeter that have faces on them. The faces were not glazed with the orange slip that covers the rest of the bottle. As the second picture show there are two chips on this side and numerous tiny chips where the shell temper is exposed.

The clay itself is buff colored. The bottle is about 5 1/2" high x 4" across. We also have a Quapaw effigy bowl listed.
