Native American Flora Naranjo Pottery Santa Clara Red Polychrome Bowl - MINT. Beautiful Polished Red Polychrome Santa Clara Pottery Bowl by Flora Naranjo. She learned to make pottery from her mother and began making her own pottery in the 1930's.
She was the mother of Frances Salazar, Barbara Martinez, Glenda Naranjo and Sammy Naranjo. She often worked with her daughter Glenda later in life and signed their pieces together. She created a variety of pottery styles from polychrome to plainware and carved pottery.The bowl is MINT with no chips, flakes, dings, hairlines or repairs. It is 1 7/8" in height, 5 1/2" in width at its widest point. It is signed Glenda Naranjo and Santa Clara on the bottom. We guarantee our pieces as described. Please call, us with any questions.
