Beautiful hand made red ware pottery by one of the best Maricopa potters Phyllis Johnson Cerna. Traditional designed and decorated with black design on red ware clay. Pottery Making Relatives: Mother: Vesta Bread, Mother-in-law: Mabel Sunn, Daughter: Antoinette Avis Pinon, Sister: Lauretta Bread and her Niece: Lauretta Bread II. Phyllis taught pottery classes in the mid-1990's at the Hoo-Hoogam-Ki Museum.

The Maricopa tribe easements, that there is only 40 tribal members left that are capable of making the traditional pottery. The date of this pot is unknown but believed to be an early creation and signed with her maiden name. Approximate measurements: 3.5" diameter x 2.25" tall.
