Offered is a pottery tile by Hopi artist, Sadie Adams who was known as Flower Woman. Featured is a fine image of a Hopi stylized eagle. The tile measures 4 x 4 inches and signed on the backside with her hallmark and name.

The tile is fully polished and traditionally fired. It is a beautiful example of her pottery and painting skill. On the backside surface there is some light cracquelure which most likely came from the firing.

The tile is in very good condition. Sadie Adams is one of the great names in Hopi pottery throughout the 1900's. There was a creativity in her shapes and the use of Hopi and Sikyatki designs.
