SALE Zia Pueblo Bird Polychrome Olla pot Native American potter Sofia Medina

Beautiful Zia pueblo polychrome pot. Condition is "Used" and i have owned it since 1990 where it is displayed on a shelf in my living room. It is a large and handsome piece. Sofia won a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the 2009 Indian Market and her work is displayed in museums throughout the country. This olla features four similar Zia birds, two light and two dark, as well as numerous geometric and abstract designs.

Nice size to display measuring 8" tall and 10" wide. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. That being said there is some pin prick pitting. Colors are the traditional pumpkin, cream and black. A fine'as found' example by a premier Zia Pueblo potter to be a treasured keepsake.
