Vintage Acoma Pueblo Pottery Turkey Native American Indian Signed

This is a wonderful pottery turkey from the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. The pot was made by hand and fired in an open-pit firing process.

The designs are beautiful -- dots, geometric designs -- orange and brown on cream. On the bottom is signed: Acoma N. Great piece for a collection with rich cultural Acoma history and accomplished artistry.
