Vintage Native American pottery, Hopi wedding vase by Fawn, Eunice Navasie

Vintage Native American pottery from the Hopi Pueblo in Arizona. Wedding Vase was handmade about 1982 by Eunice Navasie (Fawn). This one-owner piece of pottery is from my private collection.

It has been stored in a smoke-free home away from direct sunlight, and the colors are bright. She was a sister-in-law of Joy Navasie (Frogwoman), another famous Hopi pottery artist.

This vase was hand coiled in the traditional style and painted with natural pigments on a white slip background. It was polished using river rocks and fired outside using sheep dung. It measures 6-1/2" wide and 9" tall.

There is a small chip on the inside of one of the spouts. The pictures show the exact item you will receive.

Eunice's distinctive signature is on the bottom. Contact me with any questions.
